DAY 1: Prague - arrival

Meeting in Prague, followed by welcome drink and dinner served at a renowned restaurant offering impressive nighttime view of the city of Prague.

DAY 2: Bohemian Paradise – (walking)

Morning transfer to Jicin. Walking the Golden Trail passing through Prachovske Rocks enjoying overview of medieval Parez Castle ruins, and enjoy view from the Trosky Castle. Afternoon bus ride to the attractive town of Jicin to spend afternoon on your own.

DAY 3: Bohemian Paradise (walking)

A short drive to the Valdstejn Castle. Walk through undulating countryside admiring views of Hruba Skala Rocks, passing by Hruba Skala Chateau to the major landmark of this area: medieval Trosky Castle, perched high on an impressive basalt monolith. After lunch moderate stroll through quiet woods and around impregnable Kost Castle. Transfer back to Jicin.

DAY 4: Kutna Hora – Cervena Lhota - Jindrichuv Hradec (culture & nature)

Drive to Kutna Hora, UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit of the Chapel of All Saints, stroll around the Gothic Stone House, Italian Court, St. James’s Church, and most importantly St. Barbara, the country’s most spectacular cathedral. Continue to picture-perfect Cervena Lhota crimson Chateau. Transfer to historical town of Jindrichuv Hradec.

DAY 5: Bohemian Canada (walking)

Morning ride to the "Bohemian Canada" an enchanting landscape area. Pleasant walk through the woods to the ruins of the Landstejn castle to enjoy a view from its high tower. Visit of the local farm, delicious homemade cheese tasting. Continue through flowery meadows and coniferous forests to the town of Slavonice to enjoy its richly decorated facades of Gothic and Renaissance buildings. Transfer to Trebon.

DAY 6: Trebon Lake District (biking)

Morning bike ride through the Trebon Lake District, area boasting the system of over 300 man-made lakes. Biking through Trebonsko biochemical and birds’ reserve - one of the best Czech birding sites. The whole-day biking should provide us with Black Kite, Black Stork, White Stork, Middle-Spotted, Grey-headed and Black Woodpeckers. After a refreshing glass of beer.

DAY 7: Cesky Krumlov (cultural visit)

Total Driving: Approx. 2 hours

Morning transfer to Cesky Krumlov, guided tour of Cesky Krumlov, a real gem among Czech cities (UNESCO listed), Renaissance palace, the second largest after the one in Prague, and a unique Baroque theater, followed by the visit of Eggenberg Brewery to learn about beer-brewing past and to enjoy beer tasting and lunch. Free afternoon, or optionally there is a possibility to climb a nearby hill with a beautiful view of the city.

DAY 8: Vyssi Brod Monastery & Vltava River (rafting)

Total Rafting: Approx. 3 hours
Total Driving: Approx. 1 hour

Morning ride with breathtaking views of Sumava National Park and Lipno Reservoir to Vyssi Brod to start a guided tour of marvelous Cistercian monastery. Picnic lunch, followed by rafting down the Vltava River under the Rozmberk Castle, and further on through the lovely countryside with opportunity to talk to the locals. Transfer back to Cesky Krumlov.

DAY 9: Prague (walking city tour)

Total Driving: Approx. 3 hours

Morning transfer to Prague. Hotel check-in followed by city tour featuring all the most renowned sights of this jewel among cities, including the world-renown Prague Castle, St. Nicolas Cathedral, the Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock and much more. Farewell dinner.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Prague airport for your departure flight. Optinally you might stay to explore Prague on your own.
