Thank you. Yes the Prague Opera Tour was very good. My VIP liked it too and we can do another one next year. The two local guides were excellent and everything worked perfect.

Thank you very much for organising a very nice tour for our group. All are happy and like your country. The farms were very good and we especially appreciated the change to the limousin farm. A really nice family, very hospitable and the cattle were excellent also. We enjoyed meeting you and your friend at his vineyard and farm. They seem to be doing a very good job there Guide Tom was excellent and gave us a very good insight into the history and life today in the Czech Republic. There is some beautiful countryside in Czech especially down near the historic town and castle we toured. We liked finishing off in Prague, a nice city. We liked the hotel there. Best wishes

The feedback I have had from my tourists has been most favourable. No tour to CZ could have happened without Iain’s and especially your assistance and your willingness to help and organise was greatly appreciated, especially by me. Our farming visits were highlights of the tour, everyone was most impressed with the size of the operation of which Iain is ‘in charge’ and also with the way he copes with a business, which due to its size has so many different aspects and features and no less by the fact that for him, is not in your native language. The different enterprises, the new buildings and equipment and all the crops both at Salix Morava and Horsch Farms were a credit to the Czech people and having taken in the history of your country and its chequered past of the last 100 years, you all have a right to be proud of what has been achieved. Our other visits went well too and the evening chats with a beer in hand were most enjoyable, going over everything which we had seen during the day. The walk around Prague was spectacular and the cruise on the river gave a different view for us all. We were fed well on all occasions, I enjoyed especially the schnitzel and dumplings! I thank you again for all your help, and wish you well on all aspects Czech!

Yuri, Denisa and their team made us feel very welcome and with their warm friendly manner we quickly felt at home. Everything was organised efficiently and their keenness to make sure that everything was in place resulted in a well-run enjoyable conference and tour.

It was an outstanding tour. We enjoyed the food, the visits, the friendly people and your beautiful country. Well done!

A visit to central Europe had several dimensions for me - past history and how people were experiencing recent political change - the wonderful opportunity to walk through countryside, amongst the High Tatras, wooded forests, to cross a border on foot, as all this gives one a very close connection with the country you are travelling in! And then my interest in traditional dance and music came to life when we were so beautifully entertained by musicians in several excellent restaurants on the tour. Radoban, our bus driver, was a safe and cautious driver on very good roading throughout. And of special mention our truly delicious fresh and healthy picnic lunches were such a treat and loved by everyone. A high point I enjoyed were the visits to smaller villages and medieval UNESCO towns. Particularly Cesky Krumlov where I could easily have spent more time. The short time spent in Krakow, Budapest and Prague gave a taste of the beauty and importance of these cities. The smaller towns were, however, my preference and we saw and enjoyed many throughout the tour. All hotels were good and my favourite one was, Goscinna Chata, Wysowa, Poland! So many wonderful experiences were given to us but most appreciated was the leadership from our guide Tomas, who was always attentive to our requests (and there were many) and his incredible observation of peoples needs. His optimism even extended to our forgetting about the not infrequent showers of rain! A truly memorable, well considered and planned tour which catered perfectly to all my reasons for travelling to central Europe. And to end with a personal note of grateful thanks to Denisa who thoughtfully and graciously helped me with some health upsets over the last days of a great tour!

I was the Tour Manager for the New Zealand company Calder & Lawson Tours Limited and travelled with a party of 17 New Zealanders through parts of Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic in September 2015. The arrangements for the tour were made by Etours, who had also arranged three previous tours of Central Europe for Calder & Lawson Tours. I couldn’t fault their organisation. Jiri met us at the beginning of the tour and joined us again towards the end. He was anxious to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction – which it was. The guides who accompanied us throughout the tour were always obliging; they were well prepared, informative and we enjoyed their company. The hotels arranged for our accommodation were all very acceptable and the meals generally excellent. A particular highlight for us was the picnic lunches supplied for us by our Tour Guide and bus driver.

Me and my mom had wonderful holiday, the group was fun and the guides Tomas and Matej were great. The meals and accommodation were also very good. The tour was excellent value and we'll likely book another tour in the future.
